Twitter is arguably a fundamental modern day part of the web.  Unfortunately, sometimes Twitter is slow to use. If you check Google Trends, “Twitter is slow” is a top search on many major search engines.  

Here area a few tips to fix issues when Twitter is slow:

1. Make sure your broadband internet connection is fast enough to handle twitter. If you see ping times over 100ms or get less than a MBPS up or down, you could have problems.
2. Switch to a recent web browser version.  I like Firefox or Google Chrome — they are fast, modern browsers.
3. In your browsers settings, delete your cookies, temporary internet files, and if you have any disable your browser plugins.  There are many different ways to accomplish this for different internet browsers, so you may need to perform an internet search to find instructions on how to do this for your web browser.
4. If all of the above has failed, you could try loading Twitter on another device. Twitter is popular on mobile, try loading it on your mobile phone! Is it slow too? Try loading the site on LTE instead of wifi..
