Google Project Glass is a product that Google is working on, in the R & D stages. It can be described as a wearable augmented reality display, designed to allow users to perform computing tasks hands-free. Instead of using a keyboard and mouse, users would speak commands, which would then be translated from natural langauge commands into commands for the device via natural language recognition software (think Apple’s Siri).
The project is still in the concept stages, with an expected release date of 2014. Check out the below videos of Glass in action:
