Transferring an iCloud backup from one device to another allows you to transfer apps from one phone to another.

To transfer an iCloud backup from one device to another:

1. Turn on the old device.
2. Connect to Wi Fi
3. Tap Settings > iCloud
4. Make sure iCloud backup is on.
5. Tap Backup Now.
6. When the backup on device 1 has finished, turn on device 2.
7. Restore your device.
8. Back on your device, follow the setup wizard to:
9. Connect to wifi.
10. Sign into Device 2 with your apple ID from Device 1.
11. When prompted by the setup wizard, choose ‘Restore from iCloud backup’.
12. Stay connected to wifi until the restore process finishes.
